With “only” four weeks before the season begins, USA Today released their first round of rankings for the upcoming college football season. USC takes the top spot, taking 45 of the 60 first place votes. Rounding out the top 5 was LSU (who got 4 first place votes), Florida (9), Texas (zero) and Michigan (4).
