Kiper Sets Mock Draft Record

ESPN NFL Draft guru Mel Kiper, Jr. set the record for the most comprehensive mock draft in history today, projecting all seven rounds of the NFL Draft through 2024.  Kiper has spent the last fourteen days locked in his office in a bitter war against colleague Todd McShay to generate the most complete mock draft for this year's class.  McShay recently showcased his picks for all seven rounds this year, which led Kiper to one (or 16)-up him.

"I easily got through all seven rounds for the 2008 draft in about 15 minutes, which is three hours and 12 minutes faster than McShay," said Kiper.  "At that point, I figured I would just keep going to a point where McShay could never catch up."

McShay was unavailable for comment, but was last seen sprinting towards his office with a salty discharge coming from his eyes.
