NBA Draft Flash Back

I was just combing through nbadraft.net and checked out the 2001 draft for no reason at all.  I was quite surprised with some of the names that I saw; it's a much better draft than I remember.  Check out some of these names:

4. Eddy Curry
5. Jason Richardson
6. Shane Battier
10. Joe Johnson
12. Vladimir Radmanovic
13. Richard Jefferson
19. Zach Randolph

27. Jamaal Tinsley
28. Tony Parker

Not bad overall.  It's certainly better top-to-bottom than the 2002 draft, which included:

1. Yao Ming
3. Mike Dunleavy
4. Drew Gooden
8. Chris Wilcox
9. Amare Stoudemire
10. Caron Butler
11. Jared Jeffries (can't believe I am even including him)
23. Tayshaun Prince

But nothing beats the top 10 of the 2000 draft:

1. Kenyon Martin
2. Stromile Swift
3. Darius Miles
4. Marcus Fizer
5. Mike Miller
6. DerMarr Johnson
7. Chris Mihm
8. Jamal Crawford
9. Joel Przybilla
10. Keyon Dooling
