R.I.P Michael Jackson

With Michael Jackson’s memorial service dominating the news cycle today, I figured I would throw in my two cents with my top five MJ songs:

1. Black or White
2. Do You Remember the Time
3. Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough
4. The Way You Make Me Feel
5. Billie Jean

The crazy thing about Michael Jackson’s music is that he had so many hits that almost everyone has a different top five. From “Beat It” to “Thriller” to “Bad” (of which none made my list), MJ was able to make all different kinds of people sing the same tune at the same time. After so many #1 records, it’s amazing how many people love his music despite nothing new coming out for years. Even his music with the Jackson 5 was magical.

While he lived a strange life, even though “strange” barely scratches the surface of describing it, the man made some unbelievable music.
