Kingmorland.com is the culmination of numerous websites and blogs that I’ve had over the years, beginning with my first site that was hosted on the Villanova University servers in 1999.  Over time, I have developed a taste for contributing to the vast amounts of useful and useless information on the world wide web and this site is my ever-expanding conglomeration of that.

While I traditionally wrote about sports (mostly through my last site LairdNYC.com), I have occasionally ventured beyond the realm and touched on topics such as music, technology, stocks, books, movies, and so on.  This site is the total package and I hope it will serve as a tool for expressing my thoughts on an infinite number of subjects.

With posts covering more than three years, I have included links to articles I’ve enjoyed, stories I find interesting, opinions I agree or disagree with, and humorous or thought provoking emails that have been forwarded to me.  Whether it’s a new steroid leak in baseball, a new book by Jon Krakauer, or Microsoft’s new search engine Bing, I try to relay my thoughts on certain subjects with the hope that my opinion or question will spark relevant conversation amongst a group of people.  With online social networking at an all time high, there is nothing wrong with contributing to the conversation.

On that subject, I also have a Twitter feed that posts directly to this site, although if you are a Twitter purist, you can follow me at www.twitter.com/kingmorland.
